Tammie Roundtree - A Woman Making a Positive Difference

Tammie Roundtree is a woman of substance who has an innate confidence driven by a genuine passion for her ingenious novelty. When you think of a unique woman with rare modesty, dignity, integrity and real honesty, Tammie comes to mind. She is woman who has distinguished herself to be a prime of primrose and effulgence of excellence. She was born on the 29th day of the beautiful festive month of August in Huntsville, Texas, United States of America. Tammie came from a blessed family of five. She is the eldest daughter, has one elder brother, two younger brothers and one younger sister. She is a classy woman of substance

This doyen attended Huntsville High School and Bauder Fashion College where she earned Associate of Applied Arts Degree. This great belle is a God-fearing, non-denominational Christian. Tammie has worked at the Department of Human Services as a Human Resource Clerk. Tammie is a great genius and has worked in some Childcare institutions like Miss Meredith's Childcare Center as Assistant Director and Lead Teacher, BlueBonnet Children's Academy as a Lead Preschool and Toddler Teacher and currently she works at Bayes Achievement Center, Inc.

Tammie was awarded first place for RTW (Ready to Wear) Garment. She participated in the Princess Project Ministry and a speaker for SAAF House. She is a member of the Feeding Your Mind Summer Reading Book Club. She likes reading, writing poetry and working with children. Her vision is to help bring healing and inspiration to others through her works. Her interests include the Diabetics and Cancer Foundations and helping to educate others on those issues.

This lady whose wealth of wisdom is impacting lives positively values and appreciates the small things of life, her family, friends and life itself. Her hobbies include writing poetry, reading, arts and crafts, spending quality time with her family, bowling, cooking/baking, attending plays and going to parks, museums and the movies, attending festivals and she enjoys experiencing new things. One great thing I appreciate about this great queen is that helping others and being able to achieve her life goals and dreams makes her happy

Tammie's ultimate dream is to fulfill her God-given purpose on earth, to become a successful published Poet that enriches and encourages the life of others.                           My life is a gift to the world

                          So, with careful provision it's contents should be opened

                          My life is a gift more precious than gold

                          It is the extension of the greatest story that has ever been told

                          My life is love filling time and space

                          It surrounds the universe with a warm embrace

                          It's unspeakable joy racing through my veins

                          For with the fullness of my cup life victories I will claim

                          My life is proof of my ancestors

                          A testimony of God's creation

                          A song of repentance and holy provocation

                          My life is a gift to be respected with the light of truth

                          A vessel of lessons good and bad purposed to make me strong

 She met this man she thought she knew

Her roses were red, his violets blue

Mixed together she became a purplish hue

Taken by the sweet sentiments that flowed from his lips

Her face the canvas, his fist the paint

Beatings after beatings she'd constantly take.

She met this man she thought she knew

Only to discover she had not a clue

Taken by his money, car and bling

When he introduced her to drugs and other things

Now she realizes he's just a thug with poison on his lips

But this drug is strong, It holds a tight grip

And most times she doesn't have the strength to fight

All the while trying to understand her plight.

She met "The" man that would set her free

From rape, molestation and other casualties

He saw her not how she was, but as she should be

Whole and Beautiful. Inside and out.

So, she confessed to him, poured it all out.

He touched and healed her with his holy words

Embracing her as a genuine hug.

He said to her....

You are beautiful. You are free

You are just as I created you to be

No mistakes do I make, but trials and tribulations I give you must take

To make you strong and pure of heart

It all shall pass, so don't faint of heart

No matter your faults, Your guilt's and shame

I've erased them all, now stake your claim

To be a woman of virtue, substance and truth

I am your father, I'll never stop loving you

You are beautiful. You are divine

You are a treasure richly defined

So, count your blessings

I mean count them all

Good and bad, big and small
