My Hero by Uzoma Ezeson is a book that will challenge, humble, inspire and motivate you to greatness because you shall know the truth and the truth will make you better. It is a book that will cause a mindshift in your life. After reading this book, I bet you will go from good to great. This book is artfully written to stir the greatness in you. In this masterpiece, Uzoma touched areas of life that many writers fear to write about. She is a promising author whose pen is aflame to write up and better humankind.

In a time when the good culture and norms that makes our society thick is being trampled upon and relegated to the back, a belle has risen to speak the untainted truth to humankind. Uzoma Ezeson is a dame that has learned from the lives of many heroes – dead and living. The sagacity which she unveiled in this book cannot be gotten from any university except the School of Higherlife. Mind you, there is no venture greater than life exploits and true strength lies in the exploitation of your talents for the purpose of creating a better world for mankind and anyone who is able to discover the purpose of being alive, has not only contributed to the regeneration of our generation but has also earned himself a position in life hall of fame.

Goodnight, Brian is an enthralling story of fate versus faith. Fate was working against little Brian Mauretti. The soy-food that was meant to nourish him was poisoning him instead. The damage was devastating that Brian’s doctor said that Brian will not walk, talk or develop holistically.  Fate has written off Brian but, fate did not know that the boy Brian has a faith-filled grandmother named Angela DiMartino, whose faith can move mountains. Mama battled fate with a good fight of faith. Inside this great book, you will find out who won the battle between fate and faith. 

This novel is an emotional and inspiring story about the strength of unconditional love, family bond, high level faith and the determination to overcome the challenges of life. I term this book “Inspirational fiction.” This book is very motivating, inspirational and alluring. A story beautifully rendered to educate us that we should not give up when life throw stones at us. Brian’s grandmother may be aged but her faith is as strong as rock. Reading Goodnight, Brian authored by Steven Manchester reminds me of the lives of the overcomers I wrote about in my book “Overcoming the Challenges of Life.”

Steve has made me to come to like fiction more. The language of this novel is not vulgar but decent. I must confess that this work is a good story about the power of love and faith.

Three of his short stories were selected “101 Best” for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.  This Massachusetts author loves his wife, Paula and their four Children – Evan, Jacob, Isabella and Carisa.

I have read many works of fiction but, Goodnight, Brian is a work of fiction that I like so much. It is not the normal fiction work you see everyday. In this work, Steven Manchester has set his best foot forward to inspire humankind with a story that we can easily connect with because we are in a challenge or knows a family or a person in such challenging situation. The bottom-line of this of this story is never give up! No matter how difficult the situation you are in, you shall overcome. This book is a phenomenal and inspiring read. I treasure it and commend Steve Manchester for giving us this timeless gift. I learnt a lot from this book and recommend it for you, your family and friends. Getting a copy of this book is one of the best investments you can do in life, I wish you a happy read! Impossible is no match for love!

Project E

Dear Sir/Madam

                                        Partnership and Sponsorship of Project E Phase 1

Project E is an initiative to educate enspire, equip, encourage, empower, enlighten, emancipate, enliven, enrich, elevate and ennoble the lives of Nigerian youths in the inner cities. This project was initiated by a group of Nigerian youths called Team E under the umbrella of Higherlife International - a non-governmental organization focused on community and holistic human development led by Ifeanyi Enoch Onuoha and Ogwo David Emenike to teach our secondary school students in the inner cities what they cannot be taught in schools. This project will raise a new breed of young Nigerian that will live their God-given purpose for the betterment of all and sundry.

Team E will be inspiring and educating these youths on

1.       How to take charge of their lives and be their best.

2.       How to set and actualize goals.

3.       How to be problem-solvers instead of causing problems in the society.

4.       How to think positively, creatively and constructively.

5.       How to start up small businesses and be exceptional entrepreneurs.

6.       How to develop self-confidence and become godly exemplars.

7.       How to live a purposeful life and lead in their communities.

The Phase 1 of project E is to be held in 6 secondary schools in the south-east part of Nigeria. The six schools are divided into two schools in the three states: Imo State, Abia State and Anambra State. The youths in these schools will be taught, mentored and coached free by the Team E members.

In this Phase 1 we will be given out 300 copies of life-enriching book: Overcoming the Challenges of Life to this school children and we solicit for your financial support for us to be able to purchase300 copies of this book of which 300 students, 50 students from each school will receive. A copy of this book is 1000naira (8.9dollars). You can pay for 1, 2 10, 50 or many more as your spirit leads you.
